Textile what is it?
The Textile text formatting option takes a lot of the pain out of insert HTML into your Entries. Best of all it works with Movabletype. The Textile formatting code for Movable Type was written by Brad Choate ... its formatting syntax was developed by Dean Allen.
Using Textile to build your entire site in MT!
With MT Textile I can easily create a page of web content then go back and edit the text to either optimize it or upgrade its appearance.
I can also insert pictures and links very quickly without using any html within my Entry. I can honestly say that without Textile I would be a miserable webmaster indeed!
Here are some of my favorite MT Textile commands:
Bold Text - simply enclose text in *your MT Textile text* to produce your MT Textile text
Italic Text - simply enclose text in _your MT Textile italic text_ to produce your MT Textile italic text
Underline Text - simply enclose underline text in +your MT Textile text+ to produce your MT Textile underline text
Enlarged Text - simply enclose text in ++your Enlarged MT Textile text++ to produce your Enlarged MT Textile text
Anchor Text - simply enclose anchor text in "your MT Textile anchor text":http://yoururl.com to produce your MT Textile anchor text
Insert a picture - simply enclose your image with !ray.jpg! to produce:

more favorites to come! .. in the meantime look at how MT Textile can create tables.
