It’s no doubt that ever since 1998, when Google was born, the world of search engine technology changed forever. Even today Goole continues continues to be the most popular search engine available for both surfers and webmasters.

The way Google quickly spiders the web is fascinating to all of us. Using a complex text matching algorithm and Pagerank system Google delivers relevant pages consistently day after day after day.

Because of its unique ranking system it remains to be popular with webmasters and most desired by Internet Marketing companies as well. But many Webmasters are continually challenged by it as they figure out how to achieve top “organic Google” rankings within their web niche.

One things that separates Google from the other Search Engine is its speed. When it indexes – it does it quicker and far more efficiently than any other search engine. This allows Google to index the latest news and content from popular site – sometimes fresh organic content will appear every day in their index (again depending on the Page Rank or popularity level of the site).

To achieve higher rankings “organic” Google rankings , Webmasters have learned when they optimize their title, the first few lines of text, jumble content, place header tags and distribute keywords … and do so in a thoughtful way, Google will usually allow them to achieve good results.

But last but not least, Google takes a deeper look at how your site in linked both inward and outward. Bot only does it analyze high quality incoming links but the overall internal link structure as well.

For many sites getting listed in Google is automatic especially if you have incoming likes also called backlinks pointing to yours. Once your site gets listed in the index, Google will revisit your site to look for new content (this is done by a webspider called Googlebot or “Bot”). The more Pagerank you have the more often GoogleBot will visit your site.

So its time to get the edge on your competitors and learn the ins and outs of Google. Approaching it haphazardly may bring you unstable rankings and disappointments. Hopefully this site will bring clarity to some of the basic rules you need to know to improve your rankings.
